Testimonials

“I went from a centrifical force type juicer to this one - a twin screw type, and what a difference. The 2 main things I didn’t like about the “cheaper” type was that: 1) it put a lot of oxygen into the juice so it didn’t stay fresh very long and, 2) the pulp was soaking wet. The Samson Ultra doesn’t put air into the juice, so I can bottle it and it is fine the next day. I’ve even been keeping it 48 to 72 hours and it is still colorful and delicious. And with the cost of produce, the thing I really like, is the pulp comes out next to dry, just slightly moist, so I know this machine getting the maximum amount of juice out - very efficient. I was worried because these types of juicers have been advertised as slow, but I don’t get it. The Samson does carrots just as fast and other things like apples it does just marginally slower, although things do have to be cut up more finely (quartered vs. halved for apples). It comes apart in less than 10 seconds and is fairly easy to clean. It is quiet, at least a person could have a phone conversation in the same room type quiet. It is very powerful, I have yet to see or hear the motor bog at all over anything. The pitcher for juice collection is very nice. The pitcher will ofter develop a head of foam and the pitcher is designed with a slit for pouring below the top, this seems to keep the foam from being poured out with the juice - ingenious. I like the carry handle on top as it makes it easy to move. It came with pasta attachments but I haven’t tried that yet. OK, what don’t I like? There is a separate filter used for oranges (or grapefruit, etc), it’s no big deal, but you have to switch it to the veggy filter if you mix in more stuff. It does sometimes back up with large amounts of ripe pears or apples and when this happens I believe air does get into the juice. It seems to do OK if I alternate between mushier fruit and something more solid like a carrot. Hmmm, the only other thing is that is was very expensive, but I spend that much in produce every month and if it extracts the juice that efficiently, it will pay for itself in no time. I love it!”
